1 Bonus Offer Details. This $200 Checking Bonus is not available to existing AFFCU checking members, or members who are not in good standing, or closed their account or checking account within the last 12 months, or closed with a negative balance at any time. To receive the $200 Checking Bonus, open a new Value Checking or Rewards Checking account, which is subject to approval, and within 60 days of opening the account complete these activities: 1) Make a direct deposit through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) totaling $500 or more. Your direct deposit ACH must be a settled deposit of your paycheck, salary, other income, pension, or government benefits (such as social security) from your employer or government. Deposits made through the mail, financial center, mobile deposit or ATM, micro-deposits, transfers from one account to another, Person to Person (P2P) payments including those made through providers such as Zelle, Venmo, PayPal through ACH, or other non-payroll ACH electronic deposits will not be considered as direct deposits; –AND– 2) Enroll in AFFCU Digital Banking (web browser or mobile app). After meeting these requirements, the $200 Checking Bonus will be added to your checking account within 30 days. If the account has a negative balance, resulted in a loss to AFFCU, or is closed prior to AFFCU’s attempt to deposit the Checking Bonus, the bonus will not be awarded. Limit of one offer per U.S. Taxpayer Identification Number. 4 Rewards Checking Only. Requires enrollment. Transactions that qualify for Cash Rewards will receive 12 cents cash back for every signature-based transaction made with a debit card that is five dollars or more. The credit union reserves the right to determine if transactions processed under the Cash Rewards program are usual and customary. For transactions that are not usual and customary, they are: 1) not eligible for the rewards payment, and 2) may result in a loss of debit card privileges and any accrued rewards cash.
